Recovery RN

Location

Nampa, Idaho

Assignment Length

13 weeks

Schedule

Day shift
12-hour shifts
Multiple start times between 5:30 AM and 1:00 PM
May be asked to take call
Call response time: 30 minutes

Required Qualifications

Active RN license
1 year of experience
Experience in Preop and PACU
BLS
ACLS
PALS
Ability to read and identify rhythm changes and life-threatening rhythms

Preferred / Helpful

Epic experience

Unit Details

Shared position supporting Surgical and Endoscopy Pre-op and Recovery
Must be willing to support all areas daily
Staff rotate between Preop, PACU Phase 1, and PACU Phase 2
May occasionally float to other areas within the hospital

Common Patient Care Responsibilities

Prepare patients for surgery
Recover patients post-anesthesia
Manage airways
Manage pain
Assist with restocking and patient turnover
Perform EKGs, blood draws, blood sugar checks, transfers, pregnancy tests, vitals, and bladder scans

Additional Notes

First-time travelers are accepted
Scrubs are provided
3 days of orientation with a preceptor
