RN - Med Surg - Contract

Location

New York, New York

Contract Length

9 weeks

Shift

Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Every other weekend and holidays required

Role Summary

Registered Professional Nurse providing safe, competent care to a designated group of patients
Medical Surgical Unit role
Charge nurse duties may be assigned

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
Med Surg (2 years of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
1 year travel experience for Travel positions

Experience Preferences

EPIC experience highly preferred

Work Expectations

3x12 schedule
Average unit census: 30
34 beds in the unit
Staffing guideline: 1:5
Travel experience is required for travel positions only; not required for per diem positions
