Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Virginia
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • Pre/Post Cath Lab experience within the last year
  • Pre/Post Cath Lab (2 years of experience)
  • Experience with Epic
  • Critical care exposure with cardiac patients
  • Cardiac Cath Lab experience
  • Pre and post recovery experience with minimally invasive cardiac procedures including coronary angioplasty, stents, IABP, Impella, electrophysiology studies, and EP device implants

Relevant Experience

  • Pre- and post-recovery experience with patients undergoing or recovering from minimally invasive cardiac procedures
  • Critical care exposure with cardiac patients
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred: Critical Care, Emergency Services, Cardiac Cath Lab, Pre-Post Care Unit, or Cardiac Rehab

Key Clinical Skills

  • Care for patients receiving procedures such as coronary angioplasty, stents, IABP, Impella, electrophysiology studies, and EP device implants
  • Familiarity with associated medications and drips

  • Qualivis submission form required
  • All requested time off must be included on the cover sheet
  • Unit-specific skills checklist required
  • Proof of 2 references required
  • Complete application/resume required
  • Passport-style photo required before start
  • Government-issued photo ID required
