Description
Interventional Radiology Technician
Location
Morristown, New Jersey
Contract
13 weeks
Schedule
- PM shift
- 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week
- On-call every 4th weekend and 1 day per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in New Jersey
- Interventional Radiology Technologist (3-5 years of experience)
- Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ARRT
- High School Diploma/GED or Associate degree
- 3-5 years scrub assist experience
- Cardiovascular Technologist experience
Role Highlights
- Assist during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular and neuro-interventional procedures
- Scrub side by side with the proceduralist
- Operate fluoroscopic modalities and power injection of iodinated contrast media
- Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention measures
- Support documentation and image transfer in the electronic medical record and PACS system
- Perform groin management post-intervention
- Work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
