Nuclear Medicine Tech

Overview

  • Location: Bloomington, Indiana
  • Employment type: Travel/Contract
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Day, 5x8 hours, 7:00–15:30
  • Hours: 40 per week
  • Setting: Inpatient, outpatient, and ER coverage in a 3-room unit
  • Patient volume: 13–15 patients per day
  • Travelers: First-time travelers accepted

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Indiana
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist (2 years of experience)
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • ARRT (N) or NMTCB
  • PACS proficiency

Required Procedure Experience

  • Cardiac
  • Bone scan
  • Liver/spleen scan
  • Lung scan
  • Thyroid studies
  • Tumor localization
  • Myocardial imaging

Preferred Procedure Experience

  • Brain scan
  • Renal flow
  • SPECT

Additional Notes

  • Hours may vary depending on workload
  • Siemens equipment preferred
