Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Job Overview

  • Location: Savannah, Georgia
  • Employment type: Travel
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Hours per week: 36
  • Shift: 4–10-hour shifts with call

Required Qualifications

  • Cath Lab Technologist with 2 years of experience
  • Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • Cath Lab Tech Certification
  • Critical care gtt management
  • Right heart catheterization (RHC) and left heart catheterization (LHC) experience
  • CTO (chronic total occlusion) intervention experience
  • Complex intervention experience

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with RHC/LHC, CTO, and complex interventions
  • Structural heart experience is desired

Unit Details

  • Cath lab / interventional labs
  • 3 cath labs total, including 1 hybrid OR
  • Typical staffing includes lead tech, RN, and RCIS in 3–4 person teams
  • Patient ratio: 1:1

  • Complex PCI
  • CTO
  • TAVR
  • TMVR (Mitral Clips)
  • Watchmen
  • PFO closure
  • ASD/VSD closure
  • TVP placement
  • Impella CP & RP
  • IABP

Additional Notes

  • Critical care gtt management is part of the requested skill set
  • Level 1 cardiac care designation
  • Hub for cardiac care
