RN PCU
Location: Zanesville, Ohio
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights
Hours per Week: 36
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS
- ACLS
- Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit (3 years of experience)
- Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- 3 years of cardiac step-down experience including heart catheterization recovery, cardiac drips, and post-operative open-heart patients
- 3 years of medical-surgical step-down patient care experience
- Open-heart patient care experience
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
- CVRA - Cardiovascular Recovery Area experience
- Experience with Epic
- Ability to provide care to ventilated patients
Schedule and Work Expectations
- Typically works every 3rd weekend
- Covers 1 holiday, subject to change based on census and staffing
- No regular on-call requirement, though rare call coverage may be needed
- May float to other units if needed
Clinical Considerations
- Must be comfortable caring for ventilated patients if needed
