Registered Nurse - Cardiac Surgical ICU Contract

Overview

  • Location: New York, New York
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
  • Hours per week: 34.5

Role Summary

  • Provides direct patient care in a cardiac surgical intensive care setting.
  • Works with an interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Supports patient experience, quality, safety, and professional development initiatives.
  • May perform charge nurse duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in New York
  • SICU - Surgical Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
  • SICU - Surgical Intensive Care experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • 2 years of Post Open Heart and Cardiac Care Unit experience

Preferred

  • EPIC experience

Additional Notes

  • Travel experience is required for travel positions, but not for per diem positions.
