Job Summary

Provides nursing care in a hospital setting for patients with a range of health problems, from simple to complex.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned group of patients
• Document patient responses and changes in physician orders
• Assist with patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatments
• Monitor patient physiological data and intervene as needed
• Administer medications and manage intravenous infusions and blood products
• Communicate care plans and discharge information to patients and families
• Inform patients and families about hospital procedures
• Make patient care referrals to appropriate personnel
• Delegate tasks to support staff

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Oklahoma
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• 1 year or more of total travel experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg experience

• Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services
• Ability to maintain good working relationships with other employees
• Good verbal and written communication skills
