RN - PCU
Overview
- Travel RN position in Richmond, Virginia
- 13-week contract
- 36 hours per week
- Unit: Cardiac Telemetry
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS
- ACLS
- Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
- Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- Telemetry experience
- EKG reading experience
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
Unit Details
- 25-bed unit
- Typical patient ratio: 4:1
- Common equipment includes an EKG machine, Hoyer lift, and LifePak
Schedule
- Every 3rd Friday and Saturday, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- Additional Friday or Saturday shift each schedule
- Holiday coverage may be needed
Work Environment
- Team-oriented, positive environment
- Low-probability floating to Med Surg
