RN Med Surg

Assignment Details

  • Location: Idaho Falls, Idaho
  • Employment type: Travel
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
  • Hours per week: 48

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Idaho
  • Med Surg (2 years of experience)
  • Med Surg experience within the last year
  • BLS
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Chemotherapy certification
  • Flexible to work days or nights

Unit Information

  • Medical-surgical / oncology unit
  • 39 beds
  • Patient ratio: 1:5 on day shift, 1:6 on night shift
  • Floating may include Surg/Ortho and Rehab

Work Environment

  • Meditech EMR
  • Med safety expectation: minimum of 98% of medications safely scanned and administered
  • Two weekends per month
  • On-call only if low volume
