RN - Rapid Response
Job Overview
- Location: Riverside, California
- Employment type: Travel
- Contract length: 6 weeks
- Hours per week: 48
- Schedule notes: No special scheduling or requested time off; weekends may be required, and on-call is not typically scheduled
Unit Details
- Specialty area: Labor and Delivery
- Floating area: Postpartum/Couplets
- Patient ratios: 1 RN to 2 patients; 1 RN to 1 patient
- Typical procedures: NST, cervical exams, labor management, medication titration, McRoberts maneuver
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
- AWHONN
- Rapid Response Competencies
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Rapid Response experience
Preferred Experience
- Over 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- Transition Nurse/Baby Catching experience
Additional Notes
- Candidates may extend for an additional 6 weeks at the same rate if fully credentialed
- Candidates without AWHONN fetal monitoring experience will not be considered
