Description
Endoscopy/GI Lab Registered Nurse
Location
- Omaha, Nebraska
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Shift
- Days
- 10-hour shifts
- 40 hours per week
Schedule
- 5x8s or 4x10s, to be discussed in interview
- Weekly weeknight call and weekend call
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Strong circulating and teching skills for advanced GI procedures such as EUS and ERCP
Role Responsibilities
- Circulate and tech GI procedures
- Assist with advanced endoscopic procedures including ERCP, EUS, EMR/ESD, enteroscopy, and endolumenal surgery
- Perform high-level disinfection and reprocessing of complex scopes according to SGNA and manufacturer standards
Additional Requirements
- Artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas; refusal to remove them may result in termination
- Pass/fail open-book exam during orientation with a required score of 90% to pass
