Location: Kalamazoo, Michigan

Shift: Days, 3x12
Hours: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
Weekly hours: 36
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
Holiday requirement: Must work 2 of 3 holidays
Call: None
Block scheduling: Not guaranteed

Required qualifications

Valid RN license in Michigan
Telemetry (1 year of experience)
Telemetry experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional role details

Ratios typically range from 1:5–6 and may increase to 1:7 with call-ins
First-time travelers are accepted
The unit is a 54-bed cardiac telemetry unit
Patients are monitored remotely and on the unit
Common patient populations include heart failure, STEMI/NSTEMI, stroke requiring cardiac monitoring, arrhythmias, and chest pain
May also take overflow medical patients
Scrub color: Royal Blue
