Telemetry Nurse

Location

  • Tyler, Texas

Schedule

  • Night shift
  • 3x12-hour shifts
  • 19:00–07:00

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Role Overview

  • Registered Nurse role on a cardiac-focused unit
  • Patient ratio: 1:5–6
  • Unit includes private rooms and cares for young adult through geriatric patients
  • Common patient population includes stable cardiac patients and patients recovering from cardiac interventions such as cardiac surgery, coronary stent placement, and pacemaker implantation

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Texas
  • Telemetry (1 year of experience)
  • Telemetry experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • NIHSS
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
