Job Overview

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- TNCC
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- CEN
- Meditech experience
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Unit Notes
- Travelers are required to float
- Floating is as needed
- Call requirements apply
- Procedures on the unit include conscious sedation, intubation support, behavioral health watch, sepsis care, stroke care including tPA administration, and chest pain/heart alert care
Dress Code
- Navy scrubs
- Undershirts and jackets: white, navy, or black only
- Nails must be natural, short, and free of chipped polish
- Hair must be worn off the shoulders and in a natural color
- Visible body art should be covered when possible
- Visible piercings other than ears are not allowed
