    Description

    Travel RN - Cardiac ICU

    Location

    • Redding, California

    Contract Length

    • 13 weeks

    Schedule

    • 12-hour day shifts
    • Every other weekend
    • First to float to tele or med-surg units

    Required Qualifications

    • Valid RN license in California
    • CVICU (2 years of experience)
    • CVICU experience within the last year
    • BLS
    • ACLS
    • PALS
    • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

    Unit Details

    • 30-bed Cardiac ICU
    • Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:1 to 1:2
    • Charge nurse does not take a patient assignment
    • No nurse aides
    • Ventilator support available
    • Hospitalist in house 24/7
    • Respiratory therapy available 24/7
    • Pharmacy available 24/7

    Additional Information

    • Proctored dysrhythmia test on day one for telemetry, labor and delivery, emergency, and critical care nurses
    • Cerner is used for the unit
    • Navy scrubs required
    • 1 day of unit orientation
    • NIHSS is preferred
