Assignment Details
- Start date: ASAP
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Float required
- Covers Observation Unit / ER hold patients
- Average daily census: 105
- Rooms/Beds: 20/26
- Visits per day: 135
- Requested time off: no more than 7 days
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Required Certifications
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- NRP
- NIH Stroke Certification
- IV Certification
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB)
- CPI
- EFM
- Chemotherapy certification
Other Requirements
- Background check
- Education verification
- Employment application with at least the last 5 years of employment
- Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- Skills checklist
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask
- Tdap within 10 years
- Negative TB or chest X-ray
- Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, varicella, flu, COVID, drug testing, and respirator clearance documentation as applicable
- Annual regulatory training modules
