RN — Labor and Delivery

Overview

Location: Brigham City, Utah

Unit Details

Unit: Labor and Delivery
Setting: Labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
Bed count: 8
Staffing: 19 staff members
Patient ratios: 2:1 for labor patients; 4:1 for couplets
Common equipment: Fetal monitors
Typical procedures: Deliveries, recovery, and newborn testing
Floating: Occasionally to ED or Med/Surg as a sitter
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
Call requirement: 1 call shift per week, with potential for 2 calls in weeks with only 2 shifts

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Utah
Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
NRP
STABLE
CEFM or AWHONN
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Nursery experience

Preferred Qualifications

C-section experience

Additional Notes

Hospital-provided scrubs
Meditech CPN is used for charting
