NICU Registered Nurse

Job Overview

• Travel/contract role in Camden, New Jersey
• Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
• 36 hours per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Floating is required within the nurse’s skillset across multiple nearby hospitals
• Will work in Special Care Nursery Level II and NICU as needed
• Every other weekend / every other holiday
• Patient ratio: 1:2
• Block scheduling is not allowed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Jersey
• NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
• NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NRP
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• New Jersey candidates must have work history verified before start
• Government-issued photo ID
• Proof of E-Verify or attestation
• 2 professional references from the past 2 years
• Employment application
• Skills checklist
• State license verification
• NURSYS verification for RNs
• Background check
• Education verification or diploma/transcript
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement
• Latex questionnaire
• Fit mask completion within the first week of assignment
• Physical exam within the last 12 months
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• TB questionnaire
• Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity or documentation
• Drug screen
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption documentation
• Eye exam with visual acuity of 20/40 or better

Preferred

• Experience attending deliveries
• Epic experience
• First-time travelers are accepted, but not preferred

Additional Notes

• RTO must be submitted at time of application; later requests are not accepted
• Candidates must be able to float within the listed hospitals based on need
• Local candidates within 50 miles may receive a reduced local rate
