- Associate of Science in Nursing, Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Description
RN (Registered Nurse)
Location
- Prescott Valley, Arizona
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend
- Holiday rotation
- May be placed on standby if census is low
Unit Overview
- Mixed adult and pediatric medical-surgical unit
- 10 beds
- Primary care unit with telemetry for adult MST patients
- May float to the MCU or MST unit for adult MST care
- May also cross-train and float to the birthing unit for mom-baby couplets
- If experienced in labor and delivery, may float there as well
Patient Population
- Adult and pediatric patients
- Adult surgical, medical, telemetry, and pediatric cases
- Must be willing to care for both adults and children
Required Qualifications
- RN license
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- Experience working with children
- Must be able to read telemetry strips
- Must pass a dysrhythmia exam within two attempts before signing the contract
Additional Notes
- No feeding tubes, trachs, or vents on the pediatric side
- Navy scrubs required
