Schedule & Assignment Details
- Start times listed: 06:45–15:15, 09:30–18:00, and 14:45–23:15
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Local candidates are not accepted
- Pending state license is not accepted
- RTO limit: no more than 5 days
- On-call may be required, including weekends, weekdays, and holidays
- Floating within scope is not required
Required Qualifications
- CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
- 1 year of experience as a CVOR Technologist
- BLS certification
- NBSTSA or NCCT certification
Case Experience
- Cardiac surgery cases, including CABG, AVR, MVRR, TVRR, aortic aneurysm/dissection, total artificial heart, heart transplant, LVAD implantation, minimally invasive valve replacement, and transcatheter mitral/aortic/tricuspid valve replacement
- Vascular surgery cases, including endovascular and open vascular procedures such as AAA, thoracic and thoracoabdominal aneurysm with fenestrated grafts, endarterectomy, bypass for peripheral artery disease, amputation, ECMO decannulation, and repositioning
- Required CVOR case experience includes AAA repair, ASD repair, carotid endarterectomy, CABG, EVAR, femoral popliteal bypass graft, mitral valve replacement, pericardial window, TAVR, TEVAR, VAD, and ECMO

Compliance / Pre-Start Items
- Criminal background check required within 1 year of start
- EPLS/GSA/SAM required within 1 year of start
- HHS/OIG required within 1 year of start
- DHS fingerprint clearance required
- Physical exam within 12 months prior to start
- Tdap required
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray required
- Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation required
- Hepatitis B immunity, series, or declination required
- Drug screen required within 1 year of start
- Respiratory safety clearance required
- References are not required for client clearance
- Skills checklist required annually
- Pre-orientation modules must be completed before start
