Contract Length

Shift
- Nights, 12-hour shifts
Schedule
- Every other weekend
- Holiday rotation with permanent staff
Unit Details
- 28-bed medical telemetry unit
- Patient ratio: 1:5
- Floating may be required to any med surg/tele unit
Patient Population
- Cardiac patients
- Respiratory-focused patients
- Post-cath
- AMI
- Post-op lung surgeries after out of CCU
- Respiratory failure
- Chest tubes
- Pacemakers
- Post PCI
Required Qualifications
- RN license
- BLS
- ACLS
- Ability to titrate drips
- Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
Additional Unit Information
- Charge nurse is present 24/7
- CPAP and BiPap are managed by respiratory therapy
- No stepdown patients
- No art lines
- Will not pull sheaths
