Description
Radiologic Technologist I - Urgent Care
Overview
- Contract length: 8 weeks
- Schedule: 30 hours per week
- Work location: Vacaville and Fairfield, California
- Assignment includes working between two locations; no mid-shift floating
Role Summary
- Performs general radiographic studies
- Assists with patient preparation and instruction during examinations
- Supports patient safety and well-being during exams
- Cleans and inspects equipment before use and reports equipment malfunctions
- Completes required paperwork, charges, and image organization
- Covers front office and registration duties during downtime
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technologist license in California
- Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- Radiology Technologist (1 year of experience)
- ARRT
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
Experience
- New graduates are eligible
- One year of general radiology experience is preferred
Additional Notes
- The role may include patient registration, insurance verification, appointment scheduling, and medical records tasks
