Travel RN Job Summary
Role
- Registered Nurse in a Family Birthing Center
- Travel assignment in Redding, California
- Shift: Nights
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Active California RN license
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
- AWHONN
- 2+ years of experience
Unit Details
- Family Birth Center with 19 postpartum beds, 12 labor and delivery beds, 2 operating rooms, and 1 PACU
- Cares for low- and high-risk deliveries
- Level III NICU on site
- No telemetry
- No vents
- No IV team
- RT available 24/7
- Pharmacy available 24/7
- Laborist on site 24/7
Schedule and Work Expectations
- 3 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule
- Holidays are worked into the permanent staff holiday rotation
- First to float
- Floating may include pediatrics and NICU, with NICU limited to feeders and growers if that experience is present
- Circulating is not required
Additional Information
- Proctored dysrhythmia test on day one for telemetry, L/D, emergency, and critical care RNs
- Advanced fetal monitoring is listed in the source

- Scrubs are provided by the hospital
