Description
Registered Nurse — Med-Surg Unit
Location
- Fort Defiance, Arizona
Contract
- 16 weeks
- Contract assignment
Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts
- Must be flexible to work other shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Typical schedule is 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next, plus up to 1 on-call shift per week
Unit / Patient Population
- 20-bed medical-surgical unit
- Adult geriatrics and pediatric patients
- May also help cover flu immunization clinics as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Arizona
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Med Surg (3 years of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- Experience working with Adult patients
- Experience working with Pediatric patients
Additional Expectations
- Travelers are expected to attend staff meetings
- May be asked to float to other departments where qualified
- Orientation is held on Mondays only
