Contract Length

Schedule

• Day shifts
• 36 hours per week
• 9-hour shifts
• 4 days per week
• Variable start times
• Weekend call required
• Weeknight call required
• Holiday rotation may be required

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of specialty experience
• Current BLS certification
• ARRT (R) certification
• Working knowledge of CT exam performance
• Graduate of an approved training institution

Preferred Qualifications

• CT certification

Clinical Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and position them for imaging
• Operate radiologic equipment for diagnostic imaging
• Perform EKG tests, DEXA scans, and CT scans
• Maintain equipment and supplies
• Handle related administrative tasks, including scheduling, orders, archiving images, logs, and STAT data
• Assess orders for prior authorization, exam performance, and billing needs
• Troubleshoot issues related to patient accounts, orders, exams, and prior imaging
• Follow facility and departmental policies and procedures
• Participate in compliance, education, in-services, and competency requirements

Additional Details

• Inpatient, ER, outpatient, and nursing home coverage may be needed
• On-call meal, room, and board are provided while on call
• First-time travelers are accepted
