Stepdown Cardiac Nurse

Overview

Travel/contract RN role in Arlington, Virginia
13-week assignment
Rotating 4x12 schedule with days and nights
Every other weekend

Unit Focus

Cardiovascular stepdown/telemetry unit caring for cardiac surgery patients after ICU

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Cardiac Stepdown (2 years of experience)
Cardiac Stepdown experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience managing chest tubes
Experience managing dysrhythmias
Telemetry experience

Schedule

7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM

Additional Notes

ASAP start, dependent on EPIC experience/training schedule
Possible COVID requirement
Flu vaccination required during flu season; approved medical or religious exemptions may apply
