    Description

    RN (Registered Nurse)

    Location

    • Centennial, Colorado

    Contract Length

    • 13 weeks

    Schedule

    • Nights
    • 12-hour shifts
    • 36 hours per week
    • Schedule is set by leadership in 6-week blocks
    • Weekend requirement: 6–9 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
    • May be asked to take holiday rotation
    • Rare call/standby for low census

    Unit / Setting

    • PCU/IMC float pool
    • Adult and geriatric patient population
    • May float across multiple units and acuity levels within the assigned zone
    • May be assigned to ICU for low-acuity holds, PCU/stepdown, or MS-Tele

    Required Qualifications

    • 2 years of PCU/IMC experience
    • BLS
    • ACLS
    • NIHSS
    • Must be comfortable titrating and managing cardiac drips, insulin, ativan, and heparin
    • Driver’s license must be submitted

    Preferred

    • Prior neuro experience
    • Epic experience

    Additional Details

    • Travelers must float within a 60-mile zone
    • Housing is the traveler’s responsibility and must support floating throughout the full zone
    • Must be in state for the week of orientation
    • First float assignment is communicated on or before the Monday start date
    • Scrub color: any color
