Description
Labor and Delivery RN
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Frederick, Maryland
- Night shift: 3x12s, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week
- Rotating holidays and weekends
- Block scheduling is not available
- Longer assignments through January 9, 2027 are available but not required
Unit Details
- Labor & Delivery unit providing care from 20 weeks gestation through 6 weeks postpartum
- Unit includes Labor & Delivery rooms, OB Triage, OB Operating Rooms, and OB PACU
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maryland
- Labor and Delivery (3 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- OB Triage experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
Required Certifications
- ACLS
- BLS
- NRP
