Description
Registered Nurse, Labor & Delivery
Location: Chula Vista, California
Contract length: 13 weeks
Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- BLS
- NRP
- AWHONN EFM Advanced or AWHONN EFM Intermediate
Role Overview
- Provides individualized, age-specific nursing care using the nursing process
- Assesses patient and family needs, develops and implements care plans, and evaluates progress toward goals
- Coordinates with the care team, delegates appropriately, and communicates patient care needs
- Supports patient and family education, advocacy, and quality outcomes
