PCU Travel/Contract RN Job
Location
- Pocatello, Idaho
Schedule
- Night shift
- 3x12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Unit Overview
- Progressive Care / Stepdown / Telemetry unit
- 24 beds
- Typical staffing ratio: 1:3 or 1:4
- Facility provides complex care for PCI and open-heart surgery patients
- Level II Trauma and Chest Pain Accredited
- Comprehensive stroke center
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Idaho
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

- 100-mile radius rule; no local candidates
- Drivers License or State ID

- Physical exam within 12 months of start
- Fit test within 1 year of start
- Tdap within 10 years of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
- TB questionnaire if prior TB result is positive
- Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunization or titer documentation
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
