Respiratory Therapist Travel Assignment
Overview
- Location: Rockport, Maine
- Setting: Hospital-based respiratory therapy
- Employment type: Travel
- Shift: Days with some night shifts required
- Weekly hours: 36
Schedule
- Most shifts are 8a–8p
- At least one 7p–7a shift per week is needed
- For approximately 2 weeks, more than one night shift per week will be needed
- Weekend coverage: Every other weekend
- Holidays: Work holidays as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Maine
- Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
- Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS
- PALS
- NRP
Job Duties / Expectations
- Must be able to work independently as needed
- May need to float to another hospital as needed
Patient Population
- Adult
- Pediatric
- Newborns in the birthing center
Work Environment
- Respiratory therapy unit on the first floor
- Open to any scrub color
- Not allowed: Open-toe shoes or hats
Contract Length
- 10 weeks
