Job Overview

• Travel role in Paris, Texas
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Orientation is weekly on Mondays
• Candidates must live 60 miles or more from the facility to be considered travel

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Texas
• Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience
• ACLS
• BLS
• NRP
• PALS

Schedule

• Every other weekend or as needed
• Call as needed
• Float as needed

Setting

• 154-bed hospital
• Serves all ages
• Respiratory therapy department
• Level 3 trauma center
• Level 1 NICU
• Advanced primary stroke care center
• Chest pain center with primary PCI

Clinical Experience

• ICU care
• Ventilator management
• Blood gases
• A-line draws
• EKGs
• Basic respiratory care
• Trach patients
• Weaning trials
• Oxygen knowledge

Equipment

• Servo I ventilators
• Carescape ventilators
• V60 BiPAPs
• Standard nebulizers

Additional Notes

• Professional demeanor preferred
• Ceil blue scrubs required
• Casual wear not allowed
