Description
Cardiac Sonographer
Location
- Lacrosse, Wisconsin
Assignment Length
- 13 weeks
Schedule
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Monday–Friday, 7:15 AM–3:45 PM and/or 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
- Potential weeknight and weekend call coverage
Role Summary
- Performs complete echocardiographic studies and documents patient and exam data accurately
- Works independently and collaborates with physicians and other cardiac team members
- Supports stress lab and stress echo lab procedures
- Assists with orientation, training, and education of trainees, students, and visitors
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- RDCS or CCI
- BLS
- Echo Technologist experience within the last year
- 2 years of Echo Technologist experience
- Experience in an inpatient setting
- Experience in an outpatient setting
Experience
- 2 years of cardiac experience
- Adult and pediatric cardiac sonography experience, including transesophageal and stress echo experience
Additional Job Details
- 24-hour call required with a 30-minute response time
- Experience with outreach services is helpful
- Must be able to provide care from neonate to geriatric patients
- Must be able to tolerate frequent walking, standing, pushing, and pulling
