Description
Radiologic Technologist
Location: Craig, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Shift: Days
Hours per Week: 36
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Role Summary
Provides diagnostic radiologic procedures, patient education, patient care, and regulatory compliance support. The role also includes assisting with clerical tasks, patient transport when needed, and cross-training or rotating across imaging modalities as required.
Required Qualifications
- Radiology Technologist experience
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- CT Technologist (1 year of experience)
- ARRT (M) or ARRT (N) or ARRT (S) or ARDMS
Key Responsibilities
- Perform radiologic procedures and ensure quality, efficient completion for diagnostic interpretation.
- Follow radiation safety and ALARA standards.
- Verify exam orders, patient identity, and required paperwork before submission for interpretation.
- Obtain informed consent when required and document relevant medical history.
- Notify the radiologist of STAT or emergent cases.
- Perform quality control, troubleshoot equipment issues, and complete downtime documentation.
- Assist with clerical duties, patient transportation, supply inventory, and staff cross-training as needed.
- Work overtime, holidays, weekends, and call as required.
Additional Notes
- Will be registered in at least two modalities.
- Cross-training into other modalities may be required, including CT, MRI, DEXA, and Mammography.
