    Registered Respiratory Therapist

    Job Overview

    • Specialty: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics
    • Location: Seattle, Washington
    • Employment type: Travel/Contract
    • Contract length: 13 weeks
    • Shift: Night, 4x12 hours, 19:00–07:30
    • Hours per week: 48
    • Floating: Required to all inpatient and acute care areas
    • On call: Not required
    • Weekend: Yes

    Role Summary

    • Pediatric RRT role supporting neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents
    • This is not an ICU-only role
    • Candidate must be willing to work in ICUs and float to acute/inpatient areas as needed

    Required Qualifications

    • Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Washington
    • Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
    • Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
    • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
    • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
    • NBRC-RRT
    • Experience working with Adolescent or Infant or Neonate or Pediatric patients
    • PICU or NICU experience
    • Intensive Care Experience
    • Airways Management
    • Vent Management

    • Suction
    • Pulmonary toileting
    • Nebulizer
    • BiPAP
    • CPAP

    Scheduling Notes

    • Only 3 shifts of requested time off can be approved
    • Schedule runs Monday through Sunday
    • Candidates without an active Washington license should be set 6–8 weeks out
    • For ASAP start, Washington license must already be in hand; for later start, the license application must be submitted as soon as possible
