Description

NICU Travel/Contract RN

Overview

Location: Charlottesville, Virginia
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day, 4x12 hours
Weekly hours: 48
Schedule notes: Every other weekend and every other holiday; block scheduling is not guaranteed

Unit Details

Pediatric float pool role covering pediatric units including PICU, NICU, pediatric med-surg, pediatric PACU, pediatric ED boarders, and postpartum/mother-baby
Clinical review and auto offer

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NRP
Experience working with Pediatric patients
Experience working with Neonate patients
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

Pediatric PACU experience

Additional Notes

Must be comfortable working with pediatric patients
Must adhere to float policy
Time off: up to 40 hours can be approved; no time off can be approved during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
Infant-Driven Feeding certification may be submitted pending, but there is a stated cost for the course
