Cardiac Cath Lab RN Travel Assignment

Overview

  • Travel RN role in a cardiac cath lab
  • Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee
  • Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts, 0700–1730
  • Hours per week: 36
  • Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Tennessee
  • Cardiac Cath Lab experience (2 years)
  • Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Electrophysiology Lab experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • RCIS
  • CVRN

Key Responsibilities / Experience

  • Circulating cardiac cath and structural cases
  • Working knowledge of cath lab equipment, procedures, and moderate sedation
  • Preferred experience scrubbing with the physician
  • Preferred previous experience monitoring cases

Unit Details

  • Cardiac Cath Lab
  • Standard cardiac cath and structural cases
  • Possible floating to EP Lab
  • Call shifts up to 14 per month, with a standard range of 10–12 shifts per month
  • Navy, royal blue, or gray scrubs required
