Step Down RN Travel Contract
Overview
- Specialty: Registered Nurse, Step Down
- Location: Turnersville, New Jersey
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Hours per week: 36
- Floating: Required to float to like units within scope
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
- Holiday requirement: 1 holiday
- On-call: Not required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Jersey
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ACLS required
- NURSYS verification required
- State license verification required
- 2 professional references within 2 years of start
- Work history verification required for New Jersey candidates
Additional Requirements
- EPIC charting experience
- Pass/fail basic dysrhythmia exam during orientation
- NIH Stroke Certification
- PALS
- TNCC
- Orientation safety manual acknowledgement
- Physical exam within 2 months of start
- Fit test completed before start
- Current Tdap vaccine or Tdap titer
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray
- TB questionnaire annually
- Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
- Drug screen within 60 days prior to start
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
- COVID-19 vaccine exemption or vaccination documentation required prior to start
- Background check, education verification, fingerprinting, and state-specific screening documents required before start
