Preop/PACU RN
Job details
- Location: Ithaca, New York
- Employment type: LTA
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: Shifts vary between 6:00a–6:30p, 7:00a–7:30p, 8:00a–8:30p, and 9:00a–9:30p
- Call requirement: About 3–4 weeknight calls and one 24-hour weekend call in an 8-week period; call volume may change based on staffing
Required qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Driver's License
- Preoperative experience
- Day Surgery experience
- Outpatient Surgery experience
Onboarding requirements

- MMR immunity or vaccination documentation
- Fit test completed before start and within the last 12 months
- Hepatitis B immunity, vaccination series, or declination
- TB testing documentation
