Labor and Delivery RN
Location
- Eureka, California
Assignment Details
- Travel/contract role
- Start date: ASAP
- Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 18:00–6:30
- Hours per week: 36
- Contract length: 26 weeks
- Weekend coverage required to meet staffing needs
- First-time travelers accepted
- Travelers float first within their scope to meet facility needs
- Postpartum experience preferred
- High-risk OB setting with a culturally diverse patient population
- RNs circulate on cesarean sections
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Required Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- NRP
- EFM
- NIH Stroke Certification
- IV Certification
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB)
- CPI
- Chemotherapy certification
Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID
- Social Security card, as applicable for I-9
- E-Verify attestation
- Background check
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check
- HHS/OIG check
- Education verification
- State-specific search for Washington/border placements
- Work history verification or references, as applicable
- Employment application covering at least the last 5 years
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask clearance
- Tdap within 10 years or declination
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis B, flu, and COVID documentation or declinations as applicable
