Job Overview
- Location: Springfield, Missouri
- Employment type: Travel
- Shift: Days, 4x10, 0630-1700
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Missouri
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma or Level 2 Trauma patients
- Driver's License
Schedule and Work Expectations
- Weekend hours as required by the facility
- Call required on any scheduled day, averaging around 5 or fewer calls per 8 weeks
- Float as required by the facility
Clinical Setting
- Main OR
- Assists with vascular surgeon cases in the OR and hybrid imaging suite
- Works with endovascular and open cases
- Patient population ranges from outpatient to critical care inpatient
- Patient ratio: 1:1
Additional Requirements
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption required from November 1 to April 1; declinations are not accepted
- Must be a highly motivated self-starter
- Demonstrated skill in human relations and communications
- Demonstrated clinical expertise in the area of responsibility
Physical Demands
- Standing and walking most of the shift
- Lifting and pushing patients on stretchers and in wheelchairs
- Ability to push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs
- Ability to pinch up to 15 lbs
- Minimal kneeling, crouching, and crawling
Dress Code
- Black scrubs
- Unprofessional attire and jeans are not allowed
