Case Manager RN
Overview
- Travel/contract RN role in Anchorage, Alaska
- Start: ASAP
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day, 5x8 hours
- First-time travelers accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Alaska
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Case Management (1 year of experience)
- Case Management experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
- Acute Hospital Case Management Experience
- Experience with Epic
Schedule and Work Expectations
- Every other weekend required
- Floating within scope may be required
- On-call is not required
- Block scheduling is not accommodated
- Local candidates are not accepted; permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
Compliance and Pre-Start Requirements
- Pending Alaska RN license is screened, but license in hand is required for auto offer
- Only one time-off request is allowed per 13-week assignment, for 5 days or less
- No holiday time off for auto offer
- Fit mask clearance is required for travel starts
- Respirator clearance is required
- Drug screening is required
- References are required
- Employment application must include at least the last 5 years of employment
- Background check and state-specific screening are required
- Health documentation is required, including TB, MMR, hepatitis B, varicella, flu, COVID documentation, tetanus/diphtheria/Tdap, and physical exam
- Annual regulatory modules are required

Anchorage is a unique city surrounded by 5,000-foot-high peaks in the south-central part of Alaska along the Cook Inlet, where abundant salmon and whales swim through.
