Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Mexico
- ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Compliance and Pre-Start Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID
- E-Verify attestation for subcontracted candidates
- 7-year background check
- Education verification
- Primary source state license verification
- NURSYS verification
- Fingerprinting completed onsite during orientation
- Signed fingerprint consent form before start
- Clear headshot for badge
- Vehicle registration form before start
- Physical exam within 12 months of start
- Fit test within 1 year of start
- Tdap vaccination within 10 years of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
- TB questionnaire required if TB results are positive
- Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
- Skills checklist
- Work history verification for 7 years

- Orientation and training may occur before fingerprint clearance, but the traveler cannot work on the unit until clearance is received
