Job Overview

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Care of septic patients
- Care of mechanically ventilated patients with hemodynamic monitoring devices
Key Responsibilities
- Float to other inpatient areas when the home unit is low census
- Provide care for septic patients
- Provide care for mechanically ventilated patients with hemodynamic monitoring devices
- Perform comprehensive assessments
Unit Details
- Adult intensive care unit
- 30 beds
- Patient ratios: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3
- Common patient populations include sepsis, respiratory failure, substance abuse disorders, endocrine disorders, and psych disorders
Additional Notes
- Orientation includes first-day modules and one day of unit orientation
- Navy scrubs required
