Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum
Job Overview
- Travel/contract RN position in San Francisco, California
- Evening shift: 5x8s, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
- 40 hours per week
- Every other weekend
- No on-call
- May float to Labor & Delivery to assist as a baby nurse
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Maternal - Newborn experience within the last year
- 2 years of Maternal - Newborn experience
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience / Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred

- 7-year background check
- Sex offender search

- Unit-specific skills checklist
- Employment application with full 7-year work history and no gaps
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit test within 1 year of start
- Negative TB screening or chest X-ray within 90 days of start
- Drug screen within 6 months of start
- Flu vaccination documentation during flu season
- Tdap within 10 years of start
- Color vision screening by an in-person licensed healthcare provider
- Respiratory safety clearance
- Review and sign required pre-start documents
