Job Overview

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Med Surg (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Experience with Epic
- Ability to manage heparin drips
- Colostomy care
- Feeding tube care and management
- Blood product administration
- Central line care and management
- PICC line management
- Management of dysrhythmias
- Non-invasive airway management
- Traumatic brain injury care
- Surgical drain management
Schedule & Work Expectations
- 36 or 48 hours accepted
- Must be comfortable with a 1:5-6 patient ratio
- Floating may be required to similar units and alternate care locations with inpatients holding
- Every other weekend required
- RTO after booking is not allowed
