Respiratory Therapist

Overview

  • Travel/contract role in Columbus, Ohio
  • Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts
  • Weekends required

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Ohio
  • Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
  • Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
  • High school diploma and college diploma or transcripts
  • 7-year criminal background check within 90 days of start
  • Ohio BCI and FBI fingerprinting within 1 year of start
  • Emergency contact form
  • Employment application
  • Skills checklist
  • 2 professional references, including at least 1 from a manager/director or someone in a formal leadership role
  • State license verification within 30 days of start
  • NURSYS verification
  • Education accreditation confirmation
  • Background acknowledgement form
  • Dress code and hand hygiene policy acknowledgment
  • Confidential fraud, waste, abuse, and compliance reporting mechanism form
  • Fraud, waste, and abuse training certificate

  • Rubeola, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella documentation

  • Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam within 1 year of start and updated annually
  • Ohio State variable schedule attestation for OR, if applicable to the assignment

Preferred

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
  • Previous travel experience
