Job Overview

• Travel/contract RN role in Tracy, California
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
• EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Requirements

• 7-year background check required within 6 months of start
• Sex offender search required within 90 days of start
• FACIS Level 3 screening required within 2 weeks of start and then monthly
• EPLS/GSA/SAM screening required annually
• HHS/OIG screening required annually
• California Medi-Cal search required if FACIS Level 3 cannot be run monthly
• Education verification required for highest level achieved unless highest education level is high school
• Employment application must include full 7-year work history with no gaps
• Work history verification must cover up to 7 years and explain gaps over 30 days
• Unit-specific skills checklist required
• References are required for Aya clearance only

Health and Compliance Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit test within 1 year of start and renewed annually
• TB screening questionnaire within 90 days of start and renewed annually
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray required within 90 days of start, with annual renewal
• Drug screen required within 6 months of start
• Tdap required within 10 years of start
• Flu vaccination or approved declination required during flu season
• Color vision screening must be completed in person before start
• Respiratory safety clearance required before start

Candidate Documents and Acknowledgements

• Job description must be reviewed and signed before start
• Standards of business conduct must be reviewed and signed before start
• General regulatory orientation for contracted workers must be reviewed and signed before start
• Vendor training, code of conduct, and overpayment refund policy acknowledgements are required before start
• Conditional offer of employment attestation must be completed before start
• TB questionnaire must be signed by both the candidate and a healthcare provider
